Project management, coordination, and communication

Overview

This activity consists of two tasks:

Project management and coordination

Ensure that the project is managed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Among other things:

  • Strengthen long-term cooperation between Finland and Sweden,
  • Follow up on quality, costs and schedules to minimize risks,
  • Coordinate all activities within the project.

Communication

Disseminate information about the project’s progress and results and ensure visibility of EU co-financing in accordance with the European Commission’s guidelines.

 

Task 1.1: Project management and coordination

This task covers the leadership, coordination, governance and management of all project activities and funding. A steering committee will monitor progress and support decision-making through regular meetings and communication.

The task also includes CEF grant management, reporting, payment requests, and the preparation of a project handbook describing procedures, roles and responsibilities. Financial certifications by external auditors are included.

FTIA leads the task, supported by SMA.

 

Task 1.2: Communication

This task covers internal and external communication aimed at promoting the project and sharing its progress and results with stakeholders and the public.

Activities include press releases, newsletters, social media communication, a project webpage, promotional materials, and participation in events. All communication will follow EU CEF guidelines and acknowledge CEF Transport co-funding.

FTIA leads and coordinates the task, supported by SMA, with certain activities subcontracted as needed.
